On 12th October 2007 a breakfast briefing was held at KPMG's offices in London, entitled OpRisk Information Systems. Discussions included exploring the challenges faced on the Group-wide implementation of an OR solution, anticipated industry next steps and utilizing current experience to overcome key problems identified.

The summer one day event was held on 5th July 2007 entitled Improving Risk Awareness and Embedding Operational Risk Management. The location was kindly provided by Investec at their offices in Gresham Street and due to the size of the facilities and interest in the subject matter, was able to accomodate a larger than usual audience. There were some very engaging presentations and as always the break out sessions provided added benefit to those who attended.

On 27th March 2007 a member (one day) event was hosted by UBS in the City of London covering the areas of Security, Business Interruption and Operational Risk. Alongside the presentations and general discussions, a scenario exercise was also conducted with the members working in groups as the senior management and crisis team for a fictitious company potentially in crisis. The day proved to be enjoyable, entertaining and informative.
