The IOR in conjunction with GCU is to jointly host its first ‘all day’ conference.  The event is open to both members and non-members working in financial and non-financial operational risk environments.  We have been able to secure several renowned speakers, including Andrew Sheen from the FSA who will be speaking about 'Enhancing Frameworks in the Standardised Approach to Operational Risk; Tony Blunden of Chase Cooper who is presenting on Qualitative Modelling of Operational Risk; Kenneth Aiken from Bechtel covering Enterprise Wide Risk Management in the Oil and Gas Industry and Roger Miles from Risk Strategist presenting on Embedding Operational Risk Behavioural Aspects.  In addition there will be a number of additional guest speakers who will be leading individual breakout sessions, speaking on their specialist subject - Loss Data Collection and Risk Reporting Behaviour (Dr Cormac Bryce, GCU); Scenario Analysis / Stress Testing (Deloitte); Key Risk Indicators (Simon Ashby, Plymouth Business School); and Financial Crime and Fraud (Hugh Gilmour, G4S).
