Date:     26th September  2012
Time:    8.30am for Breakfast, a 9am start and to finish around 1pm.
Venue:  Holborn Bars, 138-142 Holborn, EC1N 2NQ.
Host;:   JPMorgan Chase

In light of the current financial climate what do we regard as the basic essential elements of Operational Risk?

The focus of this event will be on what we are expected to achieve with minimal resources, …  What can we manage to do?  … What are the priorities?  What are the basic requirements of the function?  How do we manage the expectations of management and external regulators ?

The format of this event will be different to previous IOR events, we intend to go back to basics …  we will have no external speakers, no presentations and no selling.

We will provide a high level agenda and a moderator led boardroom style meeting.

We will concentrate on initiating and driving open dialogue providing useful information to each other by sharing real life examples and seasoned experience under the Chatham House rule.  Our intention is for this meeting to produce some very useful output which will be shared with the members of IOR organisation as a whole.

Any suggestions for additions to the basic agenda will be greatly appreciated, please submit your ideas with your registration.

This meeting will be limited to 20 participants on a first come first served basis.   Please click here to download a booking form.

This event is free to IOR members.  There will be a £50 charge to non-members.

We plan to start at around 9am and finish around 1pm for a light lunch and conversation.
