The Institute of Operational Risk is pleased to endorse the PRA’s forthcoming event – Operational Risk Seminar.
In previous years the Financial Services Authority held a series of Canary Wharf lectures for Operational Risk practitioners in regulated firms. The Prudential Regulation Authority’s (PRA) Operational Risk experts will mark the inception of the new PRA as a subsidiary of the Bank of England, effective from 1 April 2013, by holding an Operational Risk seminar. The half-day seminar will enable the PRA to outline the outlook for regulatory change, identify common themes in firms’ Operational Risk frameworks and discuss IT and data security issues.
The seminar will provide an opportunity for members of the Operational Risk community to meet their peers as well as members of the Operational Risk teams in the Risk Specialist and Policy Divisions.
