I am very pleased to be able to invite you to our fourth event of 2016. This will take place on Wednesday 9th November (Registration at 07:45) at PwC, 1, Spencer Dock, North Wall Quay, North Wall, Dublin 1.

The theme will be the threats and opportunities offered by Brexit and followed by a discussion on what should be the appropriate operational risk management response to this event risk.

We are delighted that Andy Banks (Partner in Risk Assurance Solutions, PwC) and Dr Luke Redmond (PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory – Consulting division) will be available to provide their thoughts.  Luke is currently on secondment in the Department of An Taoiseach where he is working on the Government’s continued analysis of and response to Brexit.

Luke’s presentation will examine the evolution of key Brexit developments at EU, UK and National level and their potential implications for the business operating environment.

This will be followed by a panel discussion on what is the appropriate operational risk management response to Brexit as we help prepare our businesses to deal with any threats and avail of any opportunities. The panel will be made up of operational risk practitioners.  As previously, the focus will be very much on the group sharing its experience.  Based on the level of engagement at the last meeting, we are expected a lively discussion!
