The Institute of Operational Risk (IOR) England & Wales Chapter and the Association of Foreign Banks (AFB) are delighted to invite you to a networking evening for Operational Risk practitioners, in conjunction with Eversheds LLP.

Operational Risk is an evolving discipline, but vital for identifying impending risks which banks might face. This networking evening will provide an opportunity for practitioners to discuss current trends within the industry and share examples of best practice.

The evening will commence at 5:30pm, followed by opening remarks at 6pm from the AFB and IOR.

The Institute of Operational Risk, established in January 2004, is a professional body dedicated to the promotion of skills and standards associated with Operational Risk Management. The Institutes main aims are to promote the development and discipline of Operational Risk and to foster and maintain investigations and research into the best means and methods of developing and applying the discipline and to encourage, increase, disseminate and promote knowledge, education and training and the exchange of information and ideas.

The Association of Foreign Banks (AFB) represents the interests of the foreign banking sector which provides financial services throughout the UK, through branches, subsidiaries and representative offices. The AFB provides a forum for the sharing of information on industry issues for the mutual benefit of member banks and makes representations to industry stakeholders. The AFB’s membership, consists of over 200 banking groups covering more than 50 nations.
