Overview:

Risk and Compliance within banks and investment firms is moving into a new era. A high volume of sustained regulatory change since the financial crisis, coupled with slowing economic growth, declining margins, increasing expectations from clients, and intense competition from rivals, are creating increasing demands for Risk and Compliance functions to become more efficient and effective.

In response, many firms are fundamentally rethinking their approach to Risk and Compliance management, by assessing their current capabilities; identifying the opportunities presented by disruptive technologies and digitization; and creating a vision and roadmap to a future state operating model.

This event will consider some of the key drivers for change, challenges and opportunities, as firms look to incorporate and adapt to these trends through the use of Artificial Intelligence and Innovative Process Automation.

Key takeaways:

Current trends in technology-driven process automation;

Emerging opportunities for the enhancement of risk and compliance management; and

Key challenges for senior management – Governance, process risk, model risk and ethical considerations.
