This 90-minute event with three excellent speakers and a panel discussion will provide a forward-looking view on the growing importance, influence and recognition of operational risk management – is it finally coming of age?
The title ‘The rise of operational risk’ arises from the growing sense that the value and necessity of sound operational risk management are becoming more appreciated by outside practitioners and a light is being shone on operational risk management frameworks through senior management interest following the Coronavirus crisis and the importance of operational resilience.
Does operational risk have a real opportunity to be advanced by leveraging the interest in the discipline arising out of the response to Coronavirus and the description of operational resilience is an outcome of sound operational risk management?
