Further to our recent communication, we have pleasure in confirming details of the IOR’s 10th Anniversary Dinner which will follow immediately after the Special General Meeting. As well as a pre-dinner drinks reception, we have confirmed that Caspar Berry will be our guest speaker and there will, in addition, be an awards ceremony courtesy of The Risk Universe to present two special awards – one for the ‘OpRisk Manager of Note’ and the other for ‘Contribution to the Discipline of Operational Risk Management’.
The dress code for the evening is lounge suits for men and corresponding attire for ladies. Tickets for the event are priced at £50 which includes wine with dinner. It will also be possible for groups to arrange for a table(s) of 8-10 people to be reserved in advance (at the same price – £50 per head). Please also note that the England & Wales Chapter is running an event on the afternoon of Tuesday 3rd June (entitled “Risk and Incentives”). Anyone travelling to London especially for the Dinner may wish to take advantage of attending this event as well. Booking details can be found via the IOR website.
Additionally for anyone who may be interested, Caspar will be providing a tutorial during the evening in playing professional poker.
