We are delighted to invite you to Broadgate Search Social event. An evening to bring together the Risk community in London.

Bringing together thought leaders and practitioners from Risk for a series of light-hearted interactive conversation. Exploring key industry trends and themes impacting business dynamics. Discussions will focus around the (role of the CRO) current position, evolution and the direction of the CRO role as well as emerging risks.

Speakers Include:
– Iain Wright – CRO at Old Mutual Wealth (Quilter PLC)
– Carol Richmond – CRO at Arthur J Gallagher

Iain Wright
Iain is Group Chief Risk Officer at Quilter Plc, joining in February 2016, Iain has held CRO roles at Prudential UK and Europe and Sun Life Financial since 2006. Iain began his career as a chartered accountant with Deloitte, and later moved to the London Stock Exchange where he carried out a number of roles, completing his career there as Head of Equity and Debt Markets, UK listing authority. When the Financial Services Authority (FSA) was formed in 2000, Iain moved to head up the supervision of major retail insurance groups. Iain is Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee and Deputy Chair of the Board of the Institute of Risk Management. He joined the board in 2018, in large part because of his desire to help the development of risk professionals

Carol Richmond
Carol joined Arthur J. Gallagher in June 2015 to lead the transformation of Gallagher’s risk, compliance and financial crime functions and enable the effective integration of acquired businesses following a period of rapid UK expansion.
Bringing 30 years’ experience working in regulatory, governance and customer-focused roles in the financial services sector, Carol has established and grown the operation to support the diverse business and its future strategic growth.
As Chief Risk and Compliance Officer for the International business, Carol holds responsibility for regulation and risk across Gallagher’s UK and overseas operations. She serves on the boards of all Gallagher’s UK-regulated entities.
